As far back as I can remember, I knew that in some way I wanted to help people. I held several positions in my career, but nothing seemed to be the right fit. It wasn’t until a discussion on a long road trip to New York from visiting my family for the holidays, that I realized I would marry my passion of all things natural and my desire to help people and the environment into a business. Do what you love and are passionate about. So in December 2007, the concept of KellyGreen-Way.com was born!
I realized that many on-line green conscious companies offer either eco-friendly products or provide green living tips and information. I created KellyGreen-Way.com to provide an easy way for the community to bridge the activities to buy, learn and share eco-friendly products and knowledge, ultimately providing for the greatest impact in realizing our mission – to be proactive and take action in saving our planet.
KellyGreen-Way.com is an on-line, green lifestyle boutique featuring a hand picked selection of earth conscious products from around the world for your body, skin and home, as well as a forum for people to learn about living a green lifestyle. The products
will be of the highest quality crafted by passionate artisans who share the same values and enthusiasm towards protecting you and your environment as Kelly Green Way. I take pride in carefully selecting functional products that do not compromise quality, style and practicality, but are still good for people and nature.
All products are recyclable, reusable, fairly traded, handmade, reduce the environmental impact, are created by nature itself, or they are sustainable.
I believe the greatest impact in sustaining our environment will come from well informed and educated youth and adults. I created Kelly’s Kids Korner where kids can learn green terminology, the basics of organic farming, ways to keep the environment healthy, how and what to recycle, and much more, all through fun, interactive games.
Adults will find helpful green living information, such as how to take action and get involved, resourceful web-sites, green tips and articles in the news. Put your thinking cap on and dive in!

Interesting tidbit: The Kelly Green Way logo was made by using the silhouette of a ginkgo branch. The ginkgo tree represents longevity, peace, love, and is regarded as a bearer of hope. The Gingko tree dates back about 270 million years and is perhaps the oldest tree in the world. Gingko trees are long lived (some live more than 1000 years) and are resistance to diseases, insects, fire, drought, urban pollution, and even radioactive radiation. Six ginkgo trees survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima! In the East, the ginkgo tree is considered sacred; in Japan, old ginkgo trees are worshiped like a god. In addition to its symbolism and beauty, the Ginkgo leaves and seeds have medicinal properties that are used around the world.
