Meet the Designer: Farmerkids Organics was created by Gabrielle Kahn-Chiossone, a New York based artist and mother with the heart of a country girl. She started Farmerkids Organics to provide other earth conscious parents with products she believes in, that also reflect comfort, and simple, yet hip designs. Gabrielle is always inspired by beautiful farms, animals and countryside, as well as a play on words and the little hippie in her. Her designs are brought to life with embroidered patches, then sewn onto organic goods. Believing in less is more is how they came upon their simple packaging – scraps of our organic cotton, hemp cord, and recycled paper tags.
Green Fact :Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides and chemicals. This promotes a healthier eco-system than conventional cotton farming by keeping dangerous chemicals from leaking in rivers and soil as well as out of the air.
