Australian designers, Shareen Beringer and Ky Smith have made a timely return to ancient traditions in their search to modernise production at this time of climate change. As new mothers themselves they realised quickly the importance of environmentally friendly children's apparel. In 2007 they developed their line of 100% organic Bamboo Swaddle Blankets and Bedding. Herbal and Vegetable dyes are used to hand print oriental watercolour and woodblock inspired images. Beringer and Smith spent 2 years sourcing the best products and met with farmers, printers and suppliers in their devotion to ethical employment and a low environmental footprint.
